The Bharatiya Janata Party performed brilliantly in the elections of Gujarat Municipality, Zilla Panchayat and Taluka. On this victory, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that this proves that the confidence of the people is increasing in BJP, BJP has won 31 district panchayats in Gujarat, while the Congress has got clean. On the MCD by-election, Javadekar said that the person who had the seat went to his account.
